About

I’m a creative and technical writer of Spanish, Mexican Indian and German extraction – a dog-loving, weight-lifting, politically incorrect free-spirited Texas wolfman with a fetish for good books, good rum, good conversation and better redheads.

A native Texan and an only child – no, I wasn’t spoiled! – I’m a single father of a miniature schnauzer and a gallery of model cars.  My idea of a perfect date is a dinner of salmon and white wine and then serenading the ceiling with my favorite rock n’ roll songs.  I get bored easily, but I’m still fun to play with.  I have a B.A. in English and have worked in corporate America long enough to know I’m too independent to work in corporate America.  But, those years make for some great story matter!

Thank you again for dropping into my mind.  You won’t leave without feeling something!

Thank you for your comments on my blog http://sharonkowensimplycreating.wordpress.com

I agree that the experience of working in Corporate America provides great material for fiction writers. In my next book in the Brands Crossing Series, Whatever Goes Around, which will be published in May, I use a lot of those experiences because my protagonist, Claire Kincaid, works for a family-owned development/construction/management company.

    Good luck with your writing.

How’s it going? I just started a site called Watercooler Report (watercoolerreport.com), and am looking for contributors. The idea of the site is to have anyone be able to post their opinion about recent news, as well as interesting news. Would you be interested in posting some of your material there? The site still is under construction, but will be running within the next few months. You could write a short bio in the author section, and hopefully it could help you get some extra publicity if it picks up. Let me know if you would be interested.

    Thanks.

Can you contact us via email? We’d like to hand deliver your change.org petitions to Senator Kyl’s office in Arizona. We’d like to know if you would be willing to give us a copy.

  4. Love that you’re a fellow animal lover. Keep up the great work!

  5. Totally relate to the corporate America thing. I’m far too creative a person to be toiling away as a cube monkey at a faceless Fortune 100 company.

    Thanks for following my blog!

  6. I enjoy what I’ve seen of your blog!

  7. Your site is very fun and refreshing, Alejandro!

  8. In response to your question about where I am going for acupuncture. I am trying someplace new this year, they are a bit expensive but at this point I will try anything.

Integrated Center for Oriental Medicine, in Plano
They have a really good reputation.

Depending on where you live there are a number of other practitioners. The one I started with was affordable, simply didn’t have hours I could work with nor was he in a part of town (Addison) I could easily get to.

  9. For some reason I hadn’t added you to my page on blogs I follow. I also appear to have never visited you. Both have now been corrected
