A Second of Thought and Prayer

The Governor of the State of Texas, Greg Abbott, has COVID-19.  Since he is anti-vaccine and anti-mask, let us give him what he deserves: a second of our thoughts and prayers.

Okay, now please continue with the more pressing matters of your life.  Thank you for your support.

  1. Did you hear that when Trump suggested his believers be vaccinated at his rally in Cullman AL they booed him? And they thought these folks could be reasoned with.

    • Yes, I saw that about Trump! But it’s like the proverbial Pandora’s Box: too late!

Meanwhile, here in Texas, pro-gun / anti-science Gov. Abbott is in isolation in the taxpayer-funded mansion in Austin, which reminds me a little of Dick Cheney in an undisclosed location. Can he just stay there forever? In Abbott’s case, however, he should be moved to Rick Perry’s ranch. As with Trump, I really have no sympathy for Abbott. He essentially put himself in that position. I’m glad to see some Texas school districts are subverting his no-mask mandate for students. If politicians won’t protect our children, then someone will!
