For once I’d like to be paid for doing something I enjoy doing.
I feel your pain, Jen. The closest I’ve come to that is with an engineering company, starting nearly 20 years ago. Yet, even after I earned my college degree in 2008, I wasn’t being paid what I thought I was worth. I’ve had a few contract positions in the years since I got laid off from that place where I’ve earned what I thought I was worth.
But, as long as I can find time to write, I can forget much of that and I’ll be alright.
I told another blogger that I work at my job so I can do what I love for free.
