- Keep the air filter clean
- Change the oil regularly, at least every 6 months
- Check the spark plugs
- Check the coolant / anti-freeze fluid
- Add a bottle of gasoline treatment every time you fill up the tank
It’s not that time-consuming, but it is really that simple and absolutely necessary. If you have to evacuate your home, a well-maintained engine will help you escape, traverse the barren wasteland, climb over dead bodies and ultimately make it to somewhere safe.
