The Lincoln Project is a political action committee comprised of current and former Republicans established in 2019 to prevent the reelection of Donald Trump.
On Thursday, November 19, Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, and several Trump campaign officials staged a news conference at the Republican National Committee headquarters to denounce the outcome of the presidential elections. It was roughly 90 minutes of conspiracy theories and fact-smashing.
Chris Krebs is a former Microsoft executive appointed by Trump to head the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He organized federal and state efforts to improve election security. Trump fired him on November 17. This tweet is Krebs’ response to Rudy Giuliani’s November 19 press conference. That press conference was the most dangerous 1hr 45 minutes of television in American history. And possibly the craziest. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re lucky.
