Worst Quotes of the Week – June 19, 2021

“Strangely, some of the key people who participated on Jan. 6 have not been charged.  Look at the document. The government calls those people unindicted co-conspirators.  What does that mean?  Well, it means that in potentially every single case, they were FBI operatives.”

Tucker Carlson, insinuating the FBI was part of the January 6 riots on Capitol Hill

“But these people are running around saying, ‘There is no vote fraud because, well, there’s no prosecutions.’  Well, have you gotten the gist of how hard it is to get a stinkin’ prosecution?  Have you gotten that yet?  So, it’s really hard to get one.”

Jay DeLancy, a former U.S. Air Force colonel and executive director of North Carolina’s Voter Integrity Project, lamenting his failed efforts to highlight voter fraud in the state

  1. That’s because they get a jury trial and stack the jury in their favor.

  2. How often does Tucker Carlson appear on the dumbest/stupidest/worst quote lists every week? At what point do we just tape his mouth shut?

    • He’s appeared more times than I can count now. Carlson symbolizes the downside of free speech: even the cerebrally-challenged can have a say.

      • He’s honestly just the most recent of a long line of morons that get the privilege of wearing a mic. I don’t think he’s any dumber than any of the others… Well, the one that just died (I can’t remember his name and I’m throttled really bad and can’t use google and WP) – he was heavy set and made fun of Michael J Fox. Anyway, he wasn’t cerebrally-challenged. He was actually quite intelligent (he just used it for all the wrong reasons).

I can actually name quite a few intelligent conservatives. Just over time, they started getting drowned out by the increasingly stupid and vapid.

He died a long time ago, but I recommend you look into William F. Buckley. He was far from the dopey loons you see on TV now-a-days. He was EXTREMELY intelligent. He just believed differently from me. I can respect that. When there’s an actual question as to whether you are an actual human or just a Jim Henson puppet wearing a bow tie and a mop of hair, there’s no way to respect that. It’s just… empty-headedness being filled with other’s talking-points.

      • Rush Limbaugh mocked Michael J. Fox. Limbaugh passed away recently.

      • Yes. That’s him. Before he became an ever-loving genital wart, he was actually quite intelligent. But intelligent wasn’t really getting him anywhere, so he became an obnoxious shock jock and he found a whole new audience and had greater fame that way then ever before. That’s what sells.
